Hi! My name is Susan, and I'm Katie V's mom.  We had so much fun planning Katie's wedding, but when it came to the day of the wedding all the details fell on my shoulders.  When I look back on the day I wish we would have had somebody to coordinate all the details. 
 
    I was so happy when Katie decided to start a wedding planning service.  I never want any mom, family or friends to feel like they can't enjoy the wedding day of a loved one because of the last minute details and work that needs to be done!!
   
    As the mother of the bride the following information may be most relevant to you! So we dedicated this whole page exclusively to you!  Why you may ask?  Because in the end how the whole wedding day is played out ultimately depends on YOU!  If the day goes off without a hitch or if it seems problem after problem is developing that you have a split second to solve will come down on you.  Your daughter will be looking to you, your husband will look to you, everybody in the audience will be looking to you (while you will be hoping the audience doesn't notice). 
   

    I want you to hear of a couple horror stories past mom's have told me wishing they would have hired a wedding planner.

        1. The photographer leaves before the reception is over (it was in the fine print!)

        2.  The cake has not been delivered and it is an hour before the wedding is to start and you have to get dressed still and get to the church.

        3.  A mom that didn't have a chance to enjoy the day because she was running around all day after her daughter, getting the reception hall ready, making sure all the flowers are delivered as promised, while wondering if videographer will show up on time!
These are just a couple of the many stories I have heard over the years.

My point is YOU want to enjoy the day.  You deserve this day after all the years of raising and molding your daughter!
